Your master password, like any password, should ideally be a long string of random characters. Avoid using proper nouns and common words as much as possible.

Why would I need a password manager?

Do you:
  • use the same password everywhere or with slight variations?
  • use a proper noun or common word in your passwords?
  • replace a few letters with special characters, as in "P@ssw0rd"?
  • add "0!" to the end of your passwords to include "at least one number and one special character"?
